Dr. Amalina is a lecturer of Law in Faculty of Syariah and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). She is a graduate of Bachelor of Laws (LLB) of International Islamic University Malaysia and pursued her Master of Laws (LLM in International Trade and Commercial Law) and Doctorate degree at Durham University, United Kingdom. She lectures the Malaysian Legal System, Company Law and International Trade Law subjects for undergraduate law students. Over the years, she has presented topics on free trade agreements to various audiences including at the United Nations Economics and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in Bangkok, International Law Course- an inbound program offered to international participants from Indonesia and the Philippines, and the ASEAN Economic Integration Forums. Her current research areas include historical background of trade pacts, ASEAN sustainable development goal plans and the Malaysia-China strategic relationships on the One Belt, One Road (OBOR) as well as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership agreements.
